Location was perfect with one of our favourite restaurants (Saffron) just across the road as well as a good breakfast cafe. The room was clean and well presented with a mini-kitchen. Our request for a blanket rather than a duvet was met. Secure parking at a reasonable rate was a positive.

We have stayed here before because we like Kingston. Abode is very well located and having onsite parking is important. The hotel is quite basic, with minimal amenities in the room, but it is clean and comfortable.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel during our trip to Canberra. The location is absolutely ideal – all the main attractions are just a short drive away, and there are plenty of great restaurants nearby to explore. It made getting around the city so convenient! The highlight for us was the pet-friendly rooms. Traveling with our dog can sometimes be a challenge, but this hotel made it so easy and comfortable. It's such a big plus for anyone traveling with their furry friends! The staff were friendly and accommodating, and the room was clean and well-maintained. We’ll definitely be staying here again next time we’re in Canberra. Highly recommended!

Clean & convenient location Initially my room tv option to cast using wifi wasn't working. The reception had a guy come in to try & fix it after she tried but it still didn't work. She then tried to tell us there's nothing they could do & we had to accept it but I advised I hadn't seen my son in 3 years & we planned to just chill & watch movies for the night & wanted a room change. After initially saying they had no vacancies for another room, they were finally able to accommodate us & provide a complimentary upgrade. I was a little disappointed at first as it seemed they didn't want to automatically change my room, but thankful in the end that after I expressed my dissatisfaction, they complied.

The location was absolutely fantastic! A great cafe opposite, a short walk from the river and a short drive to all the local attractions in Canberra. Room was a good size, and our son was able to sleep on the fold out couch. Parking available in the basement for a fee. Some free on street parking on the weekend.

Spacious room with all the amenities needed for a few days stay - microwave, fridge, dishwasher....... The room was very clean, plenty of towels, pillows, comfortable bed, nice little balcony. The property is located right in the heart of the Kingston restaurant precinct, so many options for meals. There is also a "superbarn" supermarket 100 metres away for groceries. Parliament House and the Royal Australian Mint are both a short drive away.

The room was really clean! Loved the door opening and closing itself - at first I thought it was so heavy to manage because not many hotels have the door for people with disability. Loved how everything was in its place!

It was clean, tidy and had all the amenities you would need for a short stay or a work trip including wifi. Also had a great shower and really comfy bed. Quiet but really convenient location and lots of great options for meals all in a short walk plus a small well stocked supermarket. Really lovely and helpful staff to help me check in and out.

lovely room, good layout and furnishing, ample kitchen and well designed bathroom with excellent shower, basement secure car parking with direct access to accomodation via lift was excellent, nice teas and real fresh milk, excellent air conditioning and generous window with balcony
